After the government run IAS training centres in Ahmedabad, now it's time for private coaching centres to prepare budding bureaucrats of Gujarat, who can lead the state to prosperity, and contribute in the nation building process. Chanakya IAS Academy today unveiled its plans for the next generation of aspiring civil servants of the state. Founded in 1993, this academy announced the opening of its branch in Ahmedabad, with a clear goal to produce at least 100 IAS officers every year.

Speaking on the occasion, AK Mishra, founder of the academy, hailed the spirit of Gujarati youth, who are blessed with brains, and are loyal and committed towards their work.

He also stressed on the need to utilise such skills by bringing them in administration. To achieve their goal, of Mishra is planning to bring the best teachers from Delhi to teach the students here.

This move has created a fair amount of buzz among the students who are already receiving training in various govt run study centres in Ahmedabad.

These students feel that such professional coaching centres can make a huge difference in the present approach towards exam preparation. The prime reason for the high pass out ratio in Delhi and Bihar is said to be the presence of such classes. Students are happy that with the opening of such coaching classes in Gujarat, they won't have to go to Delhi for coaching.

"I have studied in a study centre in Delhi before coming to Ahmedabad, due to family reasons. Now I am happy that I can get the same quality of education in Ahmedabad," said a student who feels that it's the need of the hour to get such professional education to clear the prelims as well as finals.
