CHANAKYA
IAS ACADEMY, has been offering educational services to the students preparing for the civil services exam for the last 15 years. The Academy imparts comprehensive training-cum-guidance programmes which cover all the stages of civil services exam – Preliminary Exam (the objective type screening test); main exam (the descriptive type written test) and interview. The Academy was established with the aim to provide a complete solution to the students preparing for this exam. The focus is on providing holistic education not only covering the prescribed syllabus but also enabling the students to face other challenges of life with an equal ease.
Currently, running in its 15th year, the Academy imparts scientifically designed training to civil services aspirants. The latest pedagogic methods are used to develop administrative traits in a students' personality.
The Academy takes pride in its impeccable record of having successfully guided more than a thousand students into the civil services. A good number of these candidates have been selected for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Revenue Service (IRS).
The results of the past 6 years stand a testimony to Chanakya's glorious performance in guiding students in the civil services exam. As is apparent from the graph, in 2001, 94 of Chanakya's students were selected. In 2002, the number of selections went up to 103. The graph has been heading only upwards with 113 selections in 2003, 125 in 2004, 131 in 2005 and 135 in 2006. Not only this, hundreds of Chanakya's students have successfully entered various state/provincial civil services with the help of the training-cum-guidance programme at the Academy. (It is worth-mentioning that the syllabi prescribed by most of the state civil services commissions are in sync with the syllabus for the central civil services exam). Many of the candidates who have joined the state civil services have an opportunity to get promoted to the elite services like – IAS & IPS.
The Academy imparts its class-room training through four of its study centres – two in Delhi and one each in Ahmedabad and Ranchi.
The air-conditioned class-rooms, library-cum-reading room, cultural & co-curricular activities, study tours, in-house magazine and other such facilities offered by the Academy make it an institution in the true sense of the word.
In addition to imparting knowledge of the concerned subjects, Chanakya IAS Academy lays great emphasis on leadership development, ethics and social responsibility, and mind-power development so as to ensure that our tomorrow's bureaucrats do not suffer from moral & ethical bankruptcy. Therefore, built in the curriculum is the programme with a Midas touch – A. K. Mishra's Art of Success. As a result, every student learns to not merely tread on the beaten path but to explore newer routes; not to attain the fixed targets, but to set newer ones.

CHANAKYA IAS ACADEMY’s past
performance has been glorious. We are steadfastly committed
to quality guidance and holistic training to the civil services
aspirants. Our extraordinary results over the years, highly
encouraging response from the students, parents and teachers
and the successful running of our branches in different parts
of country are indicators of our success in this field.
Over the years the nature of civil services examination has
undergone significant changes. The competition has certainly
become stiffer. Over the past few years, it was realized
that the traditional method of coaching no longer fulfils
the requirement of the Civil Services Exam in the neo-competitive
era. So, while entering its 15th years of successful running,
Chanakya IAS Academy has made a significant/remarkable shift
from coaching to comprehensive training.
We realize that change is permanent and change for better is
progress. Keeping this in mind the Foundation Course has been
thoroughly revised, improvised and renamed — Upgraded
Foundation Course. In addition, three new programmes have been
launched - (i) A.K. Mishra’s Human Software Development
Programme (ii) A Detailed version of Art of Success Programme
which includes the Upgraded Foundation Course and A. K. Mishra’s
Human Software Development Programme, and (iii) Upgraded Foundation
Course through Postal Guidance. |
